This Webinar will discuss why reading comprehension is especially challenging for children with ASD. Specifically, what types of cognitive processes are related to weak reading comprehension among children with ASD? I will then discuss best practices for reading comprehension instruction for children with ASD, based on the most recent literature, as well as specific recommendations that teachers can use to help plan instruction in the general education classroom.
